Energy Storage Technology – Fundamentals, Applications and Safety Agenda

Purpose – To provide information on energy storage technology that is relevant to those responsible for ensuring the safety of the public and to serve as a pilot effort to determine if similar events might be warranted in the U.S. and if so how they could be enhanced and implemented.

Expected outcome – Those participating in the event will have an understanding of energy storage technology, how it works, various applications for the technology, safety issues associated with the technology and how safety issues can be mitigated and what actions to take to address safety related incidents.
